Care Management
Care Managers offer services to help older adults enhance life, develop long-term plans, and age in place. Services are available to at-risk Huntington Beach residents aged 60 years and older who live independently in the community. Care managers complete phone and in-home consultation to evaluate individual needs and link older adults with services. Information, resources, education, mobility equipment, emergency food, and low cost personal emergency systems are available.

Transportation
Seniors on the Go Transportation provides rides to Huntington Beach residents who are 60 years and older. Destinations include most locations throughout Huntington Beach and select medical locations in neighboring cities. Volunteer shopping escorts are available for group shopping trips, Wheelchair accessible vehicles are available and personal care attendants are welcome. Rides are provided Monday – Friday, 8am-3:30pm and requests should be made at least 3-5 days in advance. There are no fees for rides but donations are welcome. Nutrition Programs

The Senior Café offers a lunch at the Senior Center on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11:30AM. Meals are available on a first come – first served basis.

Suggested donation of $3.00 for those over 60. For guests under 60, the fee is $5.00.
Home Delivered Meals - 714-374-1717
Volunteers deliver three (3) meals each weekday, to seniors who qualify under federal guidelines. To qualify a person must be a Huntington Beach resident 60 years or older, homebound, nutritionally at risk, and unable to cook and shop. Meals are a combination of fresh and frozen food, which can be heated in a microwave or oven. The donation-based program may have a waiting list based on level of need and funding.
Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers make a positive change in the community and allow the Senior Center in Central Park to serve thousands of seniors each year. Volunteers make life better for Huntington Beach residents through a wide variety of activities such as teaching classes, leading activities, transporting seniors, helping with nutrition services, providing concierge and office support in various areas, providing tech coaching, helping with events, and so much more.
