The Newland Barn is an extension of Bartlett Park and is located in the Newland Shopping Center on Beach Boulevard and Adams Avenue. It is located behind the Newland House Museum. The museum may not be rented. Rental of the Newland Barn includes the enclosed lawn area. The Newland Barn is a multi-use facility and other events may be scheduled at the Newland House Museum during your desired time.

Rental Office Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Events Serving Alcohol
Any group or individual charging a fee for alcohol or charging a fee for entrance to the event and serving alcohol must obtain a one day ABC permit from the State of California Alcohol Beverage Control Department. Contact the ABC for further information.

Dates may not be held by phone and cannot be placed on a waiting list.

Full payment (Rental Fee, Deposit, and Insurance) is required at time of reservation.
Additional fees are required one month prior to your event date, such as security, tenting, gazebo rental or lighting.

Acceptable forms of payment are cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.

***This facility does not offer rehearsals for weddings***

Sunday: 8:00 am - 10:00 pm
Friday and Saturday: 8:00 am - 11:00 pm

Viewing:
The Newland Barn is open for walk-in viewing every Wednesday evening from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm (except major holidays). No appointment is necessary.

Closed on Holidays:
No reservations will be accepted for legal holidays observed by the City of Huntington Beach.

Rentals are made up to a year in advance to the date. If more than one guest is requesting the same date, a lottery will be held at 8:15 am on the day they are requesting.
