What is Be Well Huntington Beach?
We receive 15,000 calls for service each year, involving mental health, substance abuse, and similar crises. The pilot Be Well HB team includes two Crisis Counselors who will drive to your location and provide in-community assessment and stabilization services.

Who can use Be Well HB?
Anyone in Huntington Beach - regardless of income, neighborhood, health insurance status, or any other factor - can call 911 or (714) 960-8825 to request services.

What situations do we respond to?
Be Well HB is prepared to help with a variety of non-emergency, non-medical situations which may include:
- Mental health crisis
- Suicidal ideation
- Non-domestic violence family disputes
- Public assistance
- Welfare checks
- Drug and alcohol abuse/addiction
- Death notifications
- Homelessness (with Homeless Task Force)

How does this affect me?
1 in 5 adults experiences a mental health crisis, and nearly 60% don't receive the support they need to heal and thrive. Be Well HB not only provides on-site services, but also offers appropriate referrals, transportation to services, and follow-up support and case management.

Hope and health happen in HB:
We believe mental health is just as important as physical health. We are committed to providing all of our residents with greater access to proper mental health care and a supportive environment.
