Park Naming and Memorials Committee

The Park Naming and Memorials Committee is an adhoc committee of the Community and Library Services Commission that is reestablished when needed to investigate and make recommendations to City Council on possible names for parks, park areas, and facilities under the preview of the Community and Library Services Department. These names are chosen to honor deceased or prominent people who have made a significant contribution to the community based on the guidelines in Resolution 2017-25.
