On October 2, 2017 the City Council voted to create an Ad Hoc Committee to study and find the cause of Coastal Area Odors.
The Coastal Area Odors Ad Hoc Committee has been dissolved. Rest assured, progress is being made to identify the source and the South Coast Air Quality Management District is in the midst of an active investigation.
