Special Events Supervisor: Chris Cole
The City of Huntington Beach is honored to be called home to a wide verity of special events each year ranging from international sporting events to community-based celebrations. Collectively, our events in Huntington Beach attract more than 1.25 million visitors annually.
Generally, any organized activity involving the use of, or having impact upon, public property including parks, beaches, parking lots and street areas in a manner that varies from its current land use, requires a permit. The Specific Event permit process is required of events that are large in scale and necessitate the involvement of more than one city department or division.
The Special Event process begins by contacting Chris Cole. If you are interested in producing an event in Huntington Beach, please contact Mr. Cole for an initial review of your event and to learn more about the permitting process. Please review Municipal Code 13.54 regarding Specific Events.
Special Event permits are also required for any event at Pier Plaza. The Community Services - Beach Division issues permits for small events on the beach and they may be contacted at (714) 536-5281.
The Community Services Department issues permits for small events in the parks and may be contacted at (714) 536-5486.
Beach Opeations issues permits for events on the City beaches and may be contacted at (714) 536-5281.
The Community Development Department issues permits for events on private property and may be contacted at (714) 536-5271.
With warm weather, good surf, and crowded beaches, Huntington Beach is a magnet for corporate-sponsored events year-round.

A home solar panel system consists of several solar panels, an inverter, a battery, a charge regulator, wiring, and support materials. Sunlight is absorbed by the solar panels and is converted to electricity by the installed system. The battery stores electricity that can be used at a later time, like cloudy days or during the evening. Learn more about solar.
