The City recently received the last permit required to start construction. The contractor is now expected to start around mid-April. Door hanger notifications will be provided to park residents 3 days in advance of construction fencing being erected, which may hamper on-site circulation. Once construction has started, regular updates will be provided on this page. We are excited to finally move forward with this much anticipated project.
January 7-18, 2019
The City’s consultants will be removing small amounts of asbestos tiles and lead paint from the mobile homes in advance of their removal/demolition. All work is in compliance with AQMD guidelines and there is no threat to the public’s health. We are still hoping to start construction the first part of February.
