For those in need of assistance in Huntington Beach, screenings and referrals to programs that assist individuals experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness are made through our social workers, who can be contacted at (714) 536-5576 or via email at [email protected].

Additionally, city social workers maintain weekly office hours on a first-come first-serve basis, at the following locations:

Huntington Beach Police Department Front Lobby located at 2000 Main Street, every Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and Wednesday 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Refuge Calvary Chapel located at 7800 Edinger Avenue, every Thursday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

If you or someone you know within the City of Huntington Beach would like to get into a voluntary sobering or detox program through our BeWell partners, contact police communications non-emergency line at (714) 960-8825.
